ABOUT THE BAND

Army Of Souls are by no means a stranger to the music scene. The members of this band come from well established mid-west acts. Together these musicians bring their mix of styles, influences, and experiences together to create a truly unique sound. High energy, tasteful feel, strong hooks and guitar grooves are accompanied by powerful vocals delivered with a positive message. This is the beginning of a new and powerful music that fuses heavy-edged aggressiveness with a unique blend of flavorful modernism that grabs your attention immediately and NEVER lets go! Army Of Souls was founded by Brian Ericson and Vince Consolo in March of 2005. Brian and Vince were both involved with their own projects. We still have several other projects as well as this band. Frustrated with a desire to create/record something new and fresh, they joined together to reveal something truly inspiring. All arrangements and lyrics are written by Brian (guitars/vox/instruments) and Vince (drums/percussions/b-vox). Pleased with their immediate progress and mutual input they recruited Glenn Christon in July 2007 to complete their vision. The group has been auditioning for a 4th member for quite some time to no avail, butnow and hope the Pete Hlavach will make the cut. "Everything's going well right now and we think we've found our last team member" Christon reported. Army Of Souls are currently in the studio finishing up their second and third releases due out simultaneously in the Spring and Summer of 2008 with a club tour to supoport. "Cover Me" has a variety of tribute songs. We enjoy many artists and thought it would be great to tribute them using a flare of our own. We write about reality and a strong message for the future. Born in intensity and presented in perfection-we love to work hard and have fun while maintaining a positive outlook. Born in Chicago, Brian also resides outside of the city in the NW Suburbs. Living in a house where he built a full studio which includes Pro Tools, SONAR 7, and other digital gear. Playing guitars and instruments since age 8, playing clubs and touring ever since. Brian has a never-ending supply of creativity and energy. Vince Consolo, also a Chicago native, has been playing drums for the last 20 years, in and out of well established mid-west acts (Iron Hawk, Angel Heart, Luxeterna, Dear Diary, Not The Joneses, and Zero Defects. Currently residing in Barrington IL, playing and teaching drums. Pete and Glenn were also born in this great city and have played with Vince and Brian on and off throughout the various bands mentioned above. Vince also performed at the 2007 NAMM show in LA and will be performing again this January 2008.
